Something’s off.

Something HAS to be off with this shoe.

(*side note: as a kid, no movie villain scared me more than Freddy*)

So the shoe.

The story (as I understand it) is that this was a 2007 scrapped release, with the vast majority of the pairs destroyed (due to some IP conflicts). When news of this dropped (back in 2007), this shoe had already become legendary. One or two collectors somehow managed to salvage a couple of pairs, but it was widely accepted that they were the only *legit* pairs in the world. In 2007.

Fast forward to 2023 and I’m seeing pairs of this shoe EVERYWHERE. All over the sneakercon videos and the dunk collector pages and all over the content folks’ pages. There is almost a FULL SIZE RUN of this shoe available on @goat right now (more like a half a size run)…and my question is HOW SWAY?

I’ve seen more of this shoe this year alone than I have of Paris’, Tokyos, Londons and NYC’s combined over the past five.

Again, unless it’s being displayed by one of the collectors that I know was around back then…I’m assuming any pairs I see if this shoe are fake.

What are your thoughts on this shoe? How many pairs can actually exist? How many sneaklebrities can honestly own an authentic pair?
