I try not to be a judgy guy, but certain things have changed as I’ve gotten older and I look at certain things through a different lens.

Living in New York and San Francisco and Oakland, I’ve stepped through some nasty sh*t, as I’m sure most of you have. Which is…I dunno…another cost of city life.

But it wasn’t until I had kids crawling around on my floors before the wife suggested we start taking our shoes off at the door. The thought of my kids crawling around on our floors with all that trash out on Telegraph Avenue painted a pretty vivid picture for me. No thanks. So I decided to take them off at the door.

Check out the screenshots - 96% of shoes had fecal bacteria on them. Disgusting.

Lately I’ve been seeing all kinds of ‘suggested’ sneaker posts on my feed that have little to do with hype but more to do with common sense sneaker stuff and I’ve caught this one a few times now. Not the most talked about topic but I’d be interested to know - do you still wear your shoes inside your house - and why or why not?
