I’ve tried and I’ve failed a billion times with this idea. The idea, being, of course, to preserve sneakers as long as possible.
It’s a lot harder than you’d think.
I consider myself a smart-ish guy, and it eludes me. The whole idea is kind of preposterous.
But it hasn’t really stopped me from trying.
It’s a labor of love, really, or maybe it’s a labor built from insecurity. I don’t totally know. But I know shoes mean a lot to me…I’m not totally sure I can pinpoint why.
The pair shown above, with the journey it took, in the case I made, with the card I created with @sons.inc , and the whole damn kit signed by @tinkahat , thanks to the folks at @itsthestoriesthatmatter , makes me smile.
A feeling of joy. And accomplishment. And validation.
