One thing I’m really confident in is my ability to pinpoint my thought on a shoe the moment I see it. My thought is rarely correct and it doesn’t always make sense, but to me it’s always crystal clear. And from that initial thought, subsequent thoughts cascade from.
And maybe that’s because, after ~5 years of posting on Instagram every single day - I’ve challenged myself to come up with a thought. Just a simple thought. Again - it doesn’t have to be right or correct, it just has to exist.
Or maybe I just like shoes 🤷♂️
But, the thought - Seeing the new hardens on foot, I thought it looked a bit like the Kobe 1 or Kobe 2 but with a teardrop-shaped window cutout…so maybe like the natural evolution of the Kobe line (with adidas). But in like a good way. Looks like a similar material and probably feels similar on foot (?)
And, the more I look at it, the more I think my initial thought was way off 😂 but that’s fine because all of my subsequent thoughts will stem off of this singular thought - ‘is the Harden line an evolution of the Kobe line?’ Which, to me, is just an interesting question from which I can pull with every new Harden release…
Anyway, I really like what adidas has done with the Harden 7 and the Harden 8…let’s see how these age!
