And I’m relatively certain that only like 0.001% of you will care or understand the impact this *could have but you *might find it interesting.
OG Flightposite heads felt a bit shafted when the last batches of retros dropped - they dropped some dope colorways but they modified the sole (and thus performance and aesthetics) of said sneaker. The medial side just didn’t look or feel right.
Around the inner ball of the foot on the medial side, there was a support that almost made your foot feel locked into place. Flightposite heads coined the structure the ‘medial flap’ and complained about its absence heavily when retros dropped without it.

Well…I’m not totally sure what I’m reading on this post I found on WeChat, but if I’m reading it correctly it looks like this dude is saying that he’s got (fake) pairs for sale with the original shape and materials…WITH the medial flap 🤯
(And obviously, his pictures back up his claim) 🤯 🤯 🤯
This doesn’t happen often, but when the OG is significantly better than the retro, and everyone knows it. And fake makers start replicating the OG…what’s the choice to be made?
