With all of the talk about about those Flea 2’s last month, kinda shocked I haven’t seen one pass my timeline in basically a whole month…makes me wonder…how long is our collective attention span for sneakers?
Obviously, this month is the month of the reverse grinches.
And next month will be the month of…? Who knows…but it won’t be the fleas or the reverse grinches. nothing lasts it’s just gonna be something else the following month. And the month after that.
The Jordan 1 Frag dropped nearly 10 years ago, and it makes me wonder how many there are still around and wearable. There’s gotta be a big percentage right?
I find it funny (and kinda disappointing) that we can all collectively lose our shit for a new shoe month after month with a new release while we have mounds and mounds and mounds of shoes in the background that will never again see the light of day…
Social media has given us the incredible gift of reaching people from all over the world through a multitude of reasons, but the flip side is that rampant consumerism is really what keeps it all moving. Kid pics (on my private account) get drowned out when there’s money to be made, amirite? but everyone seems to care if I can provide some exclusive info on a shoe no one will give a damn about in a month…
