“Oh no not another ‘old man yelling at the clouds’ post!”
No, this question isn’t really for me…but it’s more for the target demographic on the whole TS phenomenon (which, I’m not even sure I know who’s in it). ’After seeing yet *another* underwhelming TS 1 Low color way, I have to ask…has the TS 1 low run its course? Are consumers ready to give it a rest and stash it away in the archives for a few years? Or are consumers hoping for more color ways?
It’s kind of a tricky question, IMO, because there are something like 67804 different color ways of the AJ1, or Dunks, or AF1’s, or AM1’s, or Superstars, or Yeezys, and no one really asks the question for *those* mainstays…but…does the TS AJ1 fall into that same category?
For some reason I look at the TS1’s more like an experiment in hype…and…it seems that they’re trying to milk every last dollar from it. The OG is/was a classic, and at least one of the other colorways is impossible to deny…but…is there an end in sight? If so, why? And, if not, what do you think we need to see before they can put it away for a few years?
