I may be entirely speaking out of my belowcheeks here, but there’s something about the Roshe as a ‘collectible’ sneaker that never sat right with me and still doesn’t…why?

It’s comfortable
It came in a million billion colorways
It had the game in a chokehold for a while
Nearly every pair was Uber-accessible, and lots of thematic pairs could theoretically attract those types of collectors (s/o to @flipitsf ‘s camo pairs on eBay shown on the cover of this post)

But for some reason - to me - they never felt like collectible like Jordan’s or Maxes or even Yazuses…why? IMO it must’ve been the flood of product well before they could establish that identity as ‘sought after’…does that make sense? If not, why haven’t they hit like they did in the mid 2010’s?
