A few thoughts...
Trophy Room 1's:
1. Do we *really* need another hyped AJ1 in the good year of our lord and savior 2024?
2. The shoe itself is absolutely mid. The packaging is everything.
3. Speaking of packaging, why doesn't the shoe match the wrapper that it's based on? WHERE IS THE DARK BLUE?
4. Similar to how Pippen, Ewing, Barkley, Miller (and a million others) will never be able to crawl out from under MJ's shadow, it appears that Backdoor MJ Jr. will never be able to crawl out from the original Trophy Room 1 release.
5. The 'trailer' or whatever you want to call that video for this shoe release is a cool idea. IDGAF if it's corny or whatever, the very idea that a trailer is accompanying a sneaker release is interesting. A sign of things to come?
6. Anything based on the 1986-87 Fleer Jordan RC is going to get a pass from me automatically. That card was the main catalyst for nearly every *hobby* in my life from 1987-today.
7. I personally couldn't care less about this shoe actually existing, tho, because I ain't wasting a single second of my life trying to buy it.
Hope all that entered the raffles got lucky! But wouldn't that kinda suck for all of y'all that want to stand out?
