So I recently read somewhere that the Lebron Dunkman logo silhouette was based on his very first Dunk in the NBA but I also realize that it’s not something I know all that much about.
To picture it, though, as a young Lebron making his entrance into the league in his very first dunk as like…a ‘stamp’ of him making his mark…is almost poetic. Not necessary misguided but more like over-guided. I’ve found quite a few different versions of the silhouette so the story doesn’t exactly hold up (over time) but it is really an interesting thought if that’s how it worked out…very prescient.
What do y’all know about the genesis of this logo and how it got to where it’s at? Do you think it holds up?
Which one do you prefer? This or the crown logo?
