Me, not too long ago: ‘I remember these from when I was a kid…what’s this model called again?’
Sales guy: ‘It says here it’s the Air Max Deluxe’
Me: ‘Ah…that’s right…um…this is kind of a unique colorway…what’s it called?’
Sales guy: ‘Uh, it says here…’habanero volt’’
Me: ‘Goddam did you say Habanero? I’ll take ‘em!’
You ever find yourself drawn to a shoe because of the NAME of a color they used? I dunno what it is but I LOVE the fact that the color on this is called ‘Habanero’…I don’t even like Habaneros, but for some reason that’s so much cooler than ‘red’.
The things I focus on…I swear…
