How do you put a price on this?
How do you determine the value of a pair of shoes worn by someone that will never wear another pair of shoes again?
I know there’s a market for everything, and I know the market for these is a bit smaller than I thought it’d be…but the question for me always persists: how do we reconcile the collectibility of collectors items that are extremely perishable? How do we hitch our wagons to horses that can only go so far? It’s likely my greatest concern when I come across these items…
As much as I envy the owners of these items, I’m also anxious for them: what to do what to do?
This pair was listed at $50k @goldinco , and from what I saw…nobody bid. Are others finally accepting the fact that even collectible sneakers carry a shelf life?
