I had the OG of this shoe…I think I sold them back in like 2010 or something…so when I came across them on FB the other day I purchased them on impulse.
I’d like to think I’m like an ‘advanced individual’ who doesn’t care about the boxes when it comes to shoes and I know I like to say ‘I don’t wear the box why would I care’ but every time I get a package in like this - even for a pair no one but me cares about - I’m triggered.
I’d actually prefer to get a pair WITHOUT the box than a box like this…because…it’s like…if it’s a perfect box, I can semi-justify saving it. If it comes without a box, that goes without saying. But if it comes with a box like this…what do I do with it? If it were a shoe with a high resale value I’d be REALLY annoyed…but being that this is just another pair of Tailwind IV’s that only people my age seem to care about…do I just trash the box?
Anyway…it’s just a box. Who cares? I don’t wear the box why would I care?
