Authenticated a pair of those pink poodles earlier today and a lot of those wild JS shoes popped back in my head…the gorillas and the wings and the cheetahs and the moneys…made me think…if anyone OTHER than @jeremyscott had designed those releases, would the sneaker world have been more receptive?
Kinda makes me think of that @kerwinfrost dude…I mean…maybe some of the concepts were just a bit too far out there or maybe…he was overshadowed? Too wild? Not enough parallels with the streets?
I dunno…I love how fun (and funny) a lot of his releases were…I kinda wish more designers or collaborators could take similar cues.
What do y’all think? Is JS underrated in these sneaker streets?
