Picking out today’s outfit I dug deep into the closet and pulled out my dusty old 1300’s…had me wondering…what ever happened to MB 1300’s?
Made in the USA, great materials, great shape, (pretty poor comfort wise, tho). These factors made them a staple during the NB cycle ~10ish years ago…but I don’t think I’ve seen a pair since then.
Why? Does the shape just not match the ‘comfy dad shoe’ aesthetic that NB has pretty much capitalized off of the past few years? Or…is it cuz MiUSA pairs aren’t as popular as they once were? Or is the comfort really the culprit?
I always liked the 1300…probably had 5-10 pairs at one point…why hasn’t it made an appearance?
