For the third version of our 'encasing' product...we went a little 'outside the box' and thought of framing the case with aluminum. The 'glass' was actual glass (not acrylic) and was thin enough for easy shipping, but the aluminum extrusions were just way too thick (and cumbersome) for our liking. Back to the drawing board.
