Speaking of the original Reebok pump - I was a skateboarder before I was a basketball player and I though this commercial was the absolute coolest. Urban legend had it that my buddies cousins best friends sister knew the cousin of the kid that was skateboarding in this video and there was no one else I wanted to be more than the kid who could score on a skateboard against Dominique freakin' Wilkins aka 'The Human Highlight Reel'. my mom bought me a pair of the black Dee Browns the Christmas after this commercial came out...needless to say I couldn't find a skateboard ramp attached to a basketball hoop anywhere in Truckee.
