As a buyer - The last pair of shoes I ordered on StockX was before the new year…it was a pair of Air Max Waffles (the green pair) and, even though I wouldn’t say I overpaid, it did take ~3ish weeks…tbh…that was an absurdly long time to wait for a pair of shoes that likely isn’t very poppin on the fake markets.

If StockX said to me - ‘we can have the seller ship these shoes to you directly, which would take only 2-3 days, as opposed to them sending to us then to you, which would take 2-3 weeks’ - I’m pretty sure I’d STILL say 2-3 weeks…but…that’s because I know I probably wouldn’t wear them within 2-3 weeks anyway 😂 But…really…I think it’d be best to give the buyers the CHOICE. Not force it either way. Some people can wait, some don’t want to…but why do it blindly?

I think what all of these apps suffer from is the ability to put the onus on the customer. Let the customer make the decision and clearly relay the consequence…

I know there are other reasons for this (ie: the sellers perspective, which I can hit in another post), but this is for the buyer…
