(10/12) After the UN Invitational, I went back home disappointed but determined to get Jay the remainder of the product we discussed. From the time I talked with Jay up until the time I was able to get the website fully function and the physical product (packaging) to his shop - it took a good 6 months and by that time...only 1 shoe (that I saw) was graded and promoted on IG...the @raekwon x @diadoraofficial collaboration. I patiently watched for more, but nothing. I was starting to feel this thing was over before I was able to push it off the runway.⁣

The product finally arrived, so I planned a quick trip down. I got to the shop and the majority of the employees there were new, so they looked at me like I was just another asshole trying to sell them on some bullshit. They gave me a corner to stack some boxes and I definitely felt out of place. It was funny, I spent a few minutes walking around the stockroom just checking things out, and I came across the Flightposites I had sold Jay a few years prior...they were in a box in the back by the bathroom with a bunch of other pairs, waiting to be restored. ⁣

I wasn’t totally sure what I was doing there, but I kept the mindset that if I brought the packaging, it would work itself out. Unfortunately, this was the beginning of the end. ⁣
