Funny thing happened when I received my first (early) #DunkyDunk packs…once I decided to break the first box, the first pack I pulled, the first card I pulled was the ‘Iron’ card you see above.

Now, if you’re a true sneaker nerd...you’ll notice that this is not a very good representation of the ‘Iron’. In fact, it’s terrible. The ‘Iron’ is dark grey (not light grey) and has a dark grey midsole (not white) and is actually a Dunk Hi (not a Dunk Low). I was staring at it in disbelief. WTF. How in the FUCK did I miss this? I went back over all of the approvals and found that it was totally my fault. 100% unequivocally my fault. How in the hell did I look at the final printing plates more than 10 times and STILL miss it? Goddammit. THIS was my first full-blown error card.

A day or two later, @bobbyhundreds made a post about his Griffey #project70 card that caught my eye - talking about he used to wonder how error cards came about and how the error cards on some of those early 90’s sets actually became the chase cards.

Out of the blue, one of my friends in the crypto space hit me up with THIS text: ‘hey man, you should release some digital cards on @rarible’. Bingo.

So I hit up @sonsofblackmaria and we came up with an idea. We created our first digital NFT of the fixed ‘Iron’ card. Exactly what you see above. The story was mine, the design was ours, and the animation was his. Gold.

Yes, you can digitally *own the card above. You can also just steal it by right clicking or however people do it nowadays - feel free. But if you want to *invest in it or *flip it or *collect it or simply support what @sonsofblackmaria and I are collaborating on - make sure you keep an eye out. I’m thinking of 3-5 digital copies in total...a number verified by the blockchain. If you’re interested in seeing more...let me know…
