As I said before, I’ve known about Bitcoin for probably 10 years, but have been a spectator in the crypto space for the better part of 7 years...I’ve popped in and out here and there when something catches my eye, but for the most part all I’m doing is watching from the sidelines.  
 
In 2017, when BTC and ETH made their first big leaps, there was this frenzy going around that was largely based on FOMO...they were called ICO’s (getting their name from ‘IPO’s in the Stock Market)...’Initial Coin Offerings’. Basically, any time a new crypto company was looking for funding (and in some cases they weren’t even crypto companies), they’d create a ‘coin’ and everyone would throw their crypto at it in hopes that it would be worth way more a couple of years (or minutes) down the road. At one point, there were ICO’s nearly every day and against everyone’s better judgement everyone was putting money into them. 
 
3 years later and 97% of these coins are worthless. A couple of weeks in, me and my friends started calling these ‘Shitcoins’ - a name which seemed to hit the collective consciousness at the same time. A few ICOs took off...but many of them have actually been delisted by the exchanges.. 
 
Fast forward to today - NFTs - everyone and their mother is going wild over them...including myself. Everyone is falling over themselves to *buy* and/or *sell* NFTs. Taco Bell NFT anyone? $60m for one yesterday? 
 
So that begs the question...are NFT’s the new shitcoins? Based on yesterdays poll...it seems like more than 60% of y’all think these are shit...which is funny because I kinda felt the same way until one day about 4-5 weeks ago...it all just clicked. Like... I keep explaining it to my friends as like a convergence of all the threads rolling around in my head at the same time.  
 
If y’all hate these...I think I’m going to invest in you. Yes, YOU. I’m currently working on getting *everyone* who participates in my next release at least one NFT. So...keep your eyes open. It’s coming WAY sooner than I wanted it to.
