The other day someone asked me for something I graded as a perfect 10 and here’s the first example...some Jordan VI Infrareds from 2018/19 (of which I’ve seen quite a few messed up pairs). Typical problems with these are glue stains on the upper AND the midsole and - although glue stains are visible - they are consistent the whole way through, which is ok as that’s how shoes are constructed.
Out of 2000+ pairs graded in hand, I’ve found roughly 5 pairs of perfect 10’s and 3 of those pairs were Jordans in the last batch of ~80 pairs that I graded for @kickswithvee
Hopefully this gives some clarity on what I look for when grading for the perfect pair...
