OK, I had a brief hiatus from this account (on the ‘gram) last week after one of my most successful posts EVER. That ‘what the paul’ tell post had more than 350 messages in my DMs and I responded to EACH and EVERY one of them. It was wild...I was like ‘yo this is it I’ve gone viral!’ The next day I was just about to tell y’all about a few of the issues I was running into outside of the gram and then my account got shut down... 😂
I’ll try and keep this short - but I really felt like I lost my phone and had no iCloud backup. I was freaking out. For better or for worse - y’all were my TRIBE during the pandemic and I was starting to panic thinking that I might not be able to talk with y’all again. Seriously.
During the hiatus, I got a chance to really plan out how I want this to go...so a few things I want y’all to know in case this happens again...
1. I created ANOTHER company and another IG account for the cards & NFTs & collectible stuff called @1tostock (so please give that a follow) - it’s going to be a place where @sonsofblackmaria and I really get down.
2. I started a podcast with @shoef__cohen called ‘TSS Office Hours’ and it’s basically a continued discussion on the prior weeks posts. We want to frame it like a @clubhouse where ppl can tune in and ask questions or comments in real time. It’s on all the major platforms. We recorded our first episode the week before the hiatus...
3. I started my newsletter for the longer posts. I’d like it to be a daily thing, but it might turn into a bi-weekly thing. Not totally sure yet. But PLEASE head on over and subscribe to that at thesneakersavant.substack.com because that’s where the majority of my writing is going to be at.
4. Hit me on Twitter or FB or TikTok...I’m going to be active everywhere.
I’m going to be posting this at the beginning of just about every post for the foreseeable future. I’m asking y’all to add me to the other platforms (please.).
Lastly - y’all have no idea how happy I am to see y’all avatars again. I was on cloud 9 last night with all of the messages I was receiving. Y’all are my TRIBE!
