A year ago today I dropped the 824 pack as a tribute to Kobe and the impact he had on my psyche…I created nearly 300 boxes and I just took inventory and have four boxes left for sale. Four. Success or not? To me it’s a success. Y’all seemed to love these cards and to me it’s a reminder that even when stuff seems tough it’s almost never impossible. And that’s a Kobe axiom if I ever heard one.
Anyway, the Kobe thing is still emotional. The one thing I keep thinking about - Kobe passed in January 2020 - just before the world went into COVID chaos. Like dude hasn’t been here for all the shit we been dealing with. And my thought keeps going back to to this meme where someone was saying ‘Kobe was holding the world together’.
This feels like a nonsensical ramble but seeing everyone else post about Kobe made me want to do the same.
As for the shoes - I’ve owned a ton of diff Kobe models but the one I consistently wear is shown above. Not popular and still available for less than retail, the Kobe X EXT Premium is my ‘grown man’ shoe of choice.
