It’s no secret that I’ve been kind of ‘hands off’ on IG over the last few weeks. Truth be told my account got locked again (seriously like the 6th time this year) and at that point I was just thinking ‘how can I put all this effort into something that can just shut me down at any time?’
So I started thinking about how better to manage all of the time I spend writing about sneakers and how I can ensure that whatever I do doesn’t get pulled for just arbitrary reasons…
@shoef__cohen and I (and a bunch of other guests) are still doing the podcast and we definitely cover some really interesting (off the beaten path) topics, but the newsletter has been a bit harder to maintain…so I took another look at it.
I decided that I’m going to try it again - I’m going to post more of my long form writing through the newsletter and try to do shorter versions through IG.
