This is where things get REALLY muddy for me, and I’d think it’d be REALLY scary for the sample collectors out there…

Being that the lines between real and fake shoes are now nearly indistinguishable, what happens when those same cobblers begin pumping out shoes that don’t even officially exist but command massive price tags?

This pair in particular - the Ray Allen XI’s - aka the pair that @soleyghost and @jimjonescapo got into it about - has been faked for years…who is actually able to command the ‘authority’ to authenticate any pair of these?

There might be like 3 people alive with the knowledge to properly authenticate a pair of these…does that WEAKEN the market, or would it strengthen the market (for real pairs)?
