From the ‘Kamikaze’ to the ‘Hurrikaze’, how do we feel about shoe companies digging back through their archives to rename their shoes?
Recently, they renamed a ski area around where I grew up (it was called Squaw Valley, but it’s now called Palisades Tahoe) and, I dunno, I suppose I couldn’t care less (meaning I’m all for it if it makes people happy but it doesn’t affect me one way or another). But to listen to some of the locals who I grew up with talk about the change it kinda makes me wonder…
What other shoe names might these companies have to dig in the archive to rename? Huarache? Choad? 😂
