I know that everyone has heard of MSCHF by now, but what do y’all know about MSCHF? Admittedly, I don’t know much about MSCHF, but it seems like the are professional trolls who are targeting massive corporations…
When things first surfaced with the Lil Was X ‘satan’ shoes apparently with ‘real human blood’, and MSCHF got ‘sued’, I thought…’man, that sucks.’ But looking at how that whole thing turned out for them…untold dollars in attention, it’s clear that if that wasn’t the point, it became the point. They have since become a(n) (almost) household name.
So these ‘wavy’ sneakers…co-branded with @tyga…who also collaborated with @lagear a few years back…it seems that MSCHF has another absolute hit on their hands. They can’t miss…
Personally, I don’t think I’d rock these sneakers, but they are eye-catching and interesting. MSCHF knows how to get things to go viral and they know how to piss people off and I think @vans fell right into their trap. Free publicity all for the price of a few pairs of shoes…brilliant.
