OK, so here’s the dilemma…
I *kinda* like these shoes. Like…I’m really at a *kinda* kinda place with them.
And I *kinda* might have a unique opportunity to get my hands on one of the pairs for a pretty manageable price. Maybe. One of the louder pairs. The Damier pair. *kinda*.
I *kinda* want them, I suppose, for my own edification. I don’t think I’ve owned any Louis V anything, ever. Not even the bootie fake stuff. Not even for fun. But I *kinda* want them…not really for anything else, other than to just have them. To look at them up close. Just kinda hold them. I don’t think I’ll wear them. But because we’re about to see like 7 billion goddam pictures of them coming up and I know that if I don’t pull the trigger I’m going to kick myself for not pulling the trigger.
I mean, really, in this particular shoe, I’d go with either of the white/black or black/white pairs. The base color pairs with the white swoosh aren’t all that obnoxious, either, but I’m really only into the less loud colorways.
But. I’m almost certain I will *never* wear them. I don’t really care about *selling them* for a markup up or anything. I almost just want to hold them. I don’t know. I don’t know why.
So.
What would you do? Cop or not cop?
(In before all the jackasses come in here saying ‘are you really a grown man asking other grown men what you should do?’ Yes. Yes, I am. I ain’t above any of this sh*t. How about YOU grow up.)
