It’s funny to see all these people give this dude so much negative attention…like when I think of ‘sneaker people’, this guy never…literally NEVER crosses my mind. If you asked me to name my top 1,748 sneakerheads on IG, I don’t even think he’d be anywhere near that list. He is an utter afterthought to me. So to see all these people up in arms about what this guy does (or is alleged to have done), I’m half wondering where it’s all coming from…The dude apparently pays a lot of money for shoes, then sells said shoes for a little bit more than he bought them for. It’s not rocket science.
I think…maybe…I’d say…he’s kind of like at the top of the ‘uninteresting’ pile (to me) IMO. He’s definitely more interesting than people I don’t know exist, but for someone whose main goal is resale…I just have zero interest. I am a bit fascinated as to why people are always talking about him, though.
I guess…when I was a kid…I knew of this kid whose parents got him into baseball cards early and ended up buying a card shop cuz they saw the money angle. I was jealous of him, for a time, knowing he had a Willie Mays rookie, but at the end of the day it really wasn’t all that interesting to me because he did nothing to actually earn it, his parents just supported it…from what I hear, @benjaminkickz parents supported him early on, too, and there’s not really anything wrong with that, is there?
I’m just kinda lost on the fascination with this guy…like…if you are hating on him, you do realize that giving him all this attention (even negative) keeps him on the timeline, right?
