Part of the reason I love y’all is cuz y’all are hella creative, too. Y’all aren’t a bunch of armchair warriors just claiming big sh*t trying to start fights, most of y’all think things through in your responses, too…I was thinking about this one earlier and wanted the designer DESIGNERs input on this one…I know people like to call dude crazy, but I don’t really buy into that stuff. I think when he’s complaining about something, I really try to look at it from his point of view and *most of the time, I understand his complaints.

When I first saw the Ye post (which wasn’t totally clear IMO) the way I read it was that it was a slide he designed, which then maybe floated it up to others at Yeezy, and then someone from the Adidas side took it and marketed it as an Adidas design and that’s what got him so hot…

And when I started getting DMs about it…it seemed that I read into it incorrectly. It appears that most everyone else read it as him thinking the Adilette is a direct ripoff of the Yeezy slide (the one that’s already released)…

I don’t know…design-wise…from my perspective…does he have a point? I have zero clue as to what he’s talking about…how could *anyone* think they have some kind of monopoly on slides? I had Adilette’s more than 20 years ago, and, I feel like they had been out even 20 years before that. If anything, the Yeezy Slides look more like the original Adilette’s than they do the new ones…

So here’s the question for the designers…design-wise…am I missing something here? Does he have a case? Any single point that supports his claim?
