Saw this one on a FB group and did a double and triple take...was kind of amazed at the amount of effort that went into (what I believe to be) a scam. To me, it looks like someone took a pair of CDP

Saw this one on a FB group and did a double and triple take...was kind of amazed at the amount of effort that went into (what I believe to be) a scam.

To me, it looks like someone took a pair of CDP XV's, painted the upper, then took a size tag from an old pair and hand stitched it to the inner. I've never seen a size tag stitched like that. It looks like it was done by my mom (not industrial strenght sneaker manufacturing equipment). And this probably goes without saying, but googling that product code turns up virtually nothing.That tag shows an April 1998 production date, as well, and the Jordan XV didn't actually release until December of '99.

All of this to say...watch out out there. I'm actually kind of shocked this is the first time I've seen something like this...

It's a good looking *custom* shoe, but this ain't no sample.
