It feels like I'm just in a toxic relationship with eBay...
I don't think I'm special or anything. I think A LOT of us old heads have a toxic relationship with eBay.
eBay was once the ONLY place we'd go for sneakers. Period. No questions asked. FULL STOP.
Now, it's probably the 4th or 5th place I check. And that's really because they've strayed from what always made them unique...
They used to be the place you'd go to look for hard to find kicks. Now, they're just trying to compete with the marketplaces that sell the most hyped sneakers. Lemme tell you, just because something is hyped does not mean it is hard to find...
I'd LOVE to see eBay pushing more from the sample/rare/throwback/PE angle. I think it'd be a *much* more interesting place to roam.
