I think this is kinda cool.
I feel like such a douche when folks are in the DMs asking me how much they can get a pair from me for (7 ETH) because it's just such a ridiculous amount to ask... I hate the 'accessibility' factor with a lot of these releases...it's just so pointless and unnecessary...but this project was never really about sneakers (or maybe it was ONLY about sneakers?)
I am a crypto bro (apparently) and a sneakerhead so the project was calling my name from the beginning...I bought more for the 'crypto' aspect than I did the 'sneakers' aspect, and I have been preaching this 'PUT SNEAKERS ON THE BLOCKCHAIN' for several years now, so I had to put my money where my mouth was...
So, regardless of how many fakes are out there, I'm still registered on the blockchain as an actual owner. A nice test in future-proofing...and a nice test run of the idea I've been screaming to anyone who would listen...
For anyone asking - hell no I'm not gonna be wearing my pairs any time soon.
