Another type of post I'd like to see from the major blogs...

This is the kind of info that kickstarts my brain. I feel like I already know enough about this, but I think it's the kind of post that people find interesting (instead of, you know, when random people are cutting their zip ties off of their Off-Whites). I wouldn't exactly say it's 'actionable' info, but it's educational nonetheless.

And it goes to show that all of those dudes from my parents generation (the generation that told us we HAD to wear high tops in order to 'protect our ankles') were just WAY off base. It's funny because THEIR parents used to rock the low tops on court (remember the Puma Clyde?) but they thought high's were the answer. Kobe and his designers reminded us that it was ok to wear low-tops on court...and...from the stat above...it seems it's really taken hold.

IMO...those with slow feet (or fragile ankles) do well with highs, those with quick feet can go high or low, depending on personal preference.

Anyway, I'm glad Kobe's are STILL at the top of the list for real hoopers. I hope we see more info like this from the blogs...
