The first time going to one of these shows can be overwhelming...the first one I went to was in like 2010 in DC and it was good IMO...but...every one I went to after that just reminded me of the first table I saw when I walked into the building.

If I think back to the conventions I've been to...maybe 5 or 6...I can actually remember, in my head, the tables and the table placement of the vendors/individuals that had not-so-typical shoes...the only one with anything I wish I could go back in time for - in San Jose in 2019, one dude had ONE pair of shoes in the 'trade' section - a pair of Adidas Kobe 2's in a size 13.5 (obviously Kobe PEs)...

I set up a table at one of these events one time...2016. Just a shitload of shoes I was interested in. One dude stopped by and looked at the table...picked up a few rarities...he looked around the convention...looked at me and said...'bro, they just don't know.'

All of this to say...I haven't gone to one of these conventions in years. I don't find them interesting...and that's because they're also hype driven. There really aren't all that many serious collectors making the pilgrammage to these events to show their collections. And most of those collectors aren't sellin...

I guess if I were to ask a question...if you don't go to these events - what kinds of stuff would make you go to one of these events?

If you do go to these events - what are your favorite tables to see?
