(This meme template is so perfect...I bet these kids are in the mid/late 20's runnin' around as lil content kings)
I know we got the Lost & Found AJ1's coming soon...but I see those as 'the swan song'. And I know most of y'all collectors aren't done, but is the MARKET done with Jordan 1's?
I, for one, have FAR too many pairs of AJ1's and I know there are only so many feet that I actually own. I'm thinking I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of about 25-30 pairs and I don't think I paid retail for any single pair. I know I paid a but below resale for my @jbalvin pair, which came straight from Columbia (shouts to @dirugo1 ), and I got a couple other DS pairs through Tradeblock, but everything else was thrifted or found on discount.
There are the pairs I've owned for years (that I wear once in a blue moon), and there are the pairs I've been holding for years (that I still haven't mustered up the nerve to un-deadstock), and all of those other pairs in between that I just stumbled upon because of the sheer number that exist. And I wouldn't even consider myself AJ1 head...they just released so many good pairs over the years and I was presented with so many opportunities to cop, it was hard for me to pass...
The question isn't directed at the purists...but more the guys who watch the market - IMO AJ1's won't ever be dead *unless we are* but - with Jordan Brand focusing more on other models...are 1's dead for the time being?
