Now this…this is called engagement farming. I am actively posting a controversial (sh*tty?) opinion to get a reaction. I wouldn’t say I’m doing it to ‘game the system’, but I was thinking…this is one of those opinions I’d blurt our with my friends after a couple of beers. Maybe it’s real, maybe it’s just to start a lively discussion, maybe I just want to put it out in the world hoping it will manifest itself. I farm engagement all the time in my classroom and with my family and with my friends. Why wouldn't I do it here?

Two beers in…I’m feeling just a tad spicy. My thought becomes a question. So with all things being equal - meaning the aesthetics are the only thing that matters in this discussion - let’s say you had to wear one of these pairs, every day for a year, in a place where nobody you’re going to come across knows the first thing about ‘sneaker culture’. Which one are you choosing?
Three beers in - Let’s assume that Travis Scott isn’t affiliated with one of them, and the other isn’t a shoe you normally only come across in thrift stores (funny enough, this idea came to me while SEEING these in a thrift store). Let’s say that both of them are equally present and promoted on ‘influencers’ feet. Which one are you choosing?
