Tbh I almost didn’t even want to post this one today because it feels anticlimactic and too ‘trendy’ and it will likely be forgotten by anyone that bothers to look within about 17 seconds because of the plethora of other posts in a similar vein. I’ve seen like 38 ‘end of the year’ lists and it’s barely 8am.
I stalled and stalled and stalled and here I am on December 31st - the procrastinators holy day…
If you take anything from this list (that I painstakingly curated), just take the fact that I think the sneaker world can and should be able to dig a bit deeper into the culture beyond ‘for the toe’.
And to @complexsneakers - thank you for at least getting us to raise the questions…
2026 is about thoughtfulness (for me). Onwards and upwards!
