Yeah so with grading...I have a much closer idea to what a 7 out of 10 would look like...(using shoemetrics scale)...Notice, the uppers show very minimal wear, the midsoles show a bit of flaws, interiors show minor wear, and soles also show some wear...
At a certain point of use, manufacturing flaws make way for wear flaws...which...I dunno...can be a gift and a curse. At a certain point of use, authentication can also be slightly more difficult (especially for the more simple silhouettes that rep manufacturers have damn near perfected). I think knowing wear flaws are a bit more useful for people like me as I'm wearer first (and a collector second).
When I'm buying used, I typically look for stuff around a 6.5 or better...anything lower can get the beat treatment from me.
Anyway...more of an educational post than anything...I don't want to see any more of these '7/10' posts when there are literal HOLES in the soles. Get that crap outta here!
