Regarding grading - what do you think is preventing the apps from jumping on board?
Is it that they haven't yet figured out how to grade?
Is it that they haven't yet figured out a good business case?
Or, is it that they don't see a need?
IMO, the first of the apps to institute grading (are going to get a lot of hate at first), but the benefit will soon reveal itself. Data will be easier to track, and prices will end up showing a lot more accuracy.
As far as collectors...wearers...whatever...grading has its place.
In 2016 or so, I printed the above image out and sent it to all of the heads at @goat . I'm not sure if any of my letters reached the intended parties (it was difficult to find addresses), but I tried...I'm wondering what they thought when they saw it and what prevented them from following up...
Notice - I even used Comic Sans (word to Dan Gilbert)...so you can see how serious I was.
