It's funny...I took a year off (from grading) to gain my bearings and try to better understand the market...I think it's important to take time off from constantly pushing yourself on something as it helps to contextualize things. So. That's what I did.
A couple of weeks ago, I was looking at all these pairs I had been sitting on and just thought...'hmm, I should just grade these and give @ebaysneakers another shot'. So I started grading. Started grading and better understanding my own product. So I graded 72 more pairs (and I still have another 50 or so to go. Several have sold - if you take a look at my eBay feedback you can see that people *love* the service...
As it stands, I know that the product I built isn't perfect, nor is it the final version, but I do understand what I need to do to push it and to scale it.
Again...it may not be me, but sneaker grading WILL become a thing. VHS tapes, video games, cards, watches, coins, comics, etc., there is ABSOLUTELY a place for sneakers. Mark my words...this is GOING to happen.
