Kind of a strange question, but an old friend asked me if I thought sneakerheads would ever come around to All Birds.
There was an episode of Business of Hype with Jeff Staple a while back where he spoke with the founder of All Birds, and, I dunno...it's an interesting question.
Never in a million years did I think sneakerheads would care about Hoka's, ONs, or Crocs (Salomons always existed in a different realm IMO), but here we find ourselves...legitimate lines out the door on some of these releases...
All Birds were super popular in the tech space (when I was working at startups), and I suppose they *look* comfortable, but I don't know all that much about what attracts anyone to anything...
Pretty sure they did a collab with @jeffstaple at one point...but I think everyone is getting a bit tired of the old grey, pink and white schtick.
If I were to guess, I'd say the right collab (@salahe.bembury or @bryandiaz or @jjjound or someone of that caliber) could put them on the map. Which is kinda dope - the right designer can make or break almost *anything...what do you think? Will All Birds ever grace the feet of 'heads?
