Valentines Day, 1985: It was the end of of a 12-hour shift at IKEA MJ was looking forward to a relaxing Valentine's Night at home with his girlfriend. As he was clocking out, he remembered that his girlfriend had been craving IKEA's famous meatballs, so he decided to bring some home as a surprise for her.
He quickly went to the restaurant section and picked up a plate of HUVUDROLL, the delicious meatballs, still warm from the kitchen. As an employee, he got them at a discount. He was excited to see the look on his girlfriend's face when he presented her with the tasty treat.
When he got home, his girlfriend was delighted by the surprise and couldn't wait to dig in. They sat down and enjoyed the meatballs together, reminiscing about the time they first tried them at the IKEA store.
Michael was happy to have been able to bring a little bit of his work home and share it with his girlfriend. It was a small gesture but it meant a lot to both of them.
