(2/?) The idea really started with the @void.equipment shoe…and then the VOID NFT project. When I saw the branding between these two separate, completely unrelated projects lined up, I drew the connection and figured I could make it happen. Little did I expect, but no one in the #visitorsofimmadegen discord gave much care to anything IRL that was project related. @@thesonsofblackmaria and I whipped up a few mockups, shot them on over to @marrio_restores and he was able to bring the idea to reality…and it came out great. The only problem was, again, I didn’t really know how to market it to people who really only seemed to be interested in the digital side of their NFTs…
So <redacted> and I explored the idea of one-of-one Bored Ape sneakers…and we deemed it was completely possible and completely dope. No matter how difficult it would end up being, we would be able to provide something really dope for the space…a ‘NFT ID’ if you will…
I ran the idea past a few rockstars and everyone loved it…the money didn’t seem like it would be that big of a detractor. We knew the process, we could design on the fly (or design through a generative model), and now…all we had to do was find someone would could produce it for us. Easy peasy lemon squeezy, right?.
